Medium-big body, fairly fizzy. Lots of chocolate, lots of yeasty spiciness, and some floral hop flavor. Hint of bananas. Really malty. Alcohol is fairly subdued.

Big and creamy. Nicely malty, with lots of Belgian spiciness. Fruity character from the yeast, but also from the hops. Not as "resiny" as the label suggests.

Overall Impression (3)
Real tasty, smooth, complex beer. It's a collaborative effort by Dirk Naudts and Tomme Arthur.

Very refreshing for such a strong beer. Probably the cleanest beer of the Flemish Primitive Wild Ale series.

Fairly big, smooth, and really chewy. Big caramel flavor, reasonably sweet. Mildly tart, with a nice Brettanomyces earthiness. Caramel candy and light toffee return for the finish, right after a grassy hop flavor.

Removed the bail, and the cork hit the ceiling. Poured an absurdly thick creamy dense head. Bright golden. High carbonation. Some yeast haze.

Aroma (4)
INTENSE Belgian spiciness is apparent from two feet away. Tart and fruity, all on top of a lot of malt.

Mouthfeel (9)
Light body, really creamy. Big malt base carries a pronounced tartness and quite a bit of Brettanomyces earthiness. Plenty fruity. Gueuze-like complexity without the extreme dryness.

April 2003 selection. Hazy-gold, very high carbonation, massive whipped-cream head. Tart and fruity aroma, like a Lambic, with just a little Brettanomyces character. Light body, very fizzy. Surprising sweet maltiness for such a dry beer. Tart - not sour - and fruity. Tastes like a Gueuze, only sweeter and not nearly as sour. Finishes fruity and a little sweet, like a Tripel.
