In April 1997, Widmer announced the formation of a distribution and equity alliance with Anheuser-Busch, whereby A-B will make a minority investment in Widmer in exchange for distribution rights.

      Chill haze, dark amber, good head. Caramel malt aroma, not grainy. Missing esters? Very bitter in the back...fades to a residual sweetness. Nice carbonation bite. Caramelly sweetness.

      Chill haze, yellow. Malt aroma is faint, hops are noticeable. Lingerng bitter aftertaste. Some alcohol, a lot of bittering hops. Feels good.

      Amber, chill haze, minimal haze. Malty aroma, not grainy. No hops. Sweet, very bitter. High carbonation bite. Doesn't taste alcoholic.
