Anheuser-Busch domestic sales exceeded 100,000,000 barrels for the first time in company history in 2002. They were named the Large Brewing Company of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival in 2003 and again in 2005.

It's not awful, but it's not something I'd buy. My guess is that regular Bud Light drinkers will say it's too heavy for them.

Deep dark red. Moderate head. The aroma is very mildly sweet, very mildly roasty, and very mildly buttery. Light body. Very sweet. The flavor is sorta brown-roasty. Sweet finish. It's billed as "a combination of a porter (dark ale) and a lager"…so why don't they sell the Porter? The wholesaler assured me he didn't know anything about "these serious beers".
