Old Dominion added a brewpub to their outstanding microbrewery in early 1997. I visited their original production brewery in Virginia in 1994.
In 2007, Fordham Brewing and Anheuser-Busch formed Coastal Brewing Company and purchased Old Dominion. Coastal will be responsible for the Old Dominion and Fordham brands.
In August 2008, Coastal Brewing Company closed the Old Dominion Brewpub, and in June 2009, all production was moved from the original Ashburn VA to Dover DE.

Got this beer courtesy Rick Garvin and BURP. Yellow. Very hazy. High carbonation. Clove aroma! Clove flavor! Great balance. I can't find anything wrong with it. (Note: I got to taste some of this right out of the fermenter in July 1994...amazing stuff!)

Red, hazy. Very spicy! Some alcohol in aroma, cloves etc. Clove flavor. Sweeet. Some brown malt. Very much like a Weizen.
