Congratulations to New Glarus and Dan Carey, 2003 Great American Beer Festival Small Brewing Company Brewmaster of the Year! Dan followed up this accolade by being named Mid-Size Brewing Company of the Year at the 2005 Great American Beer Festival, and again in 2006.
Building on their success, New Glarus announced in 2008 their plans to build a second brewery in town. They'll operate both breweries in order to keep up with the Wisconsin demand for their beers; that's the only state they distribute in.
