Medium-big body, smooth. Lots of malt to back up a smooth, smoky roastiness. Resiny-floral bitterness toward the end. Finishes a little astringent due to the roast, but still really tasty.Overall Impression (2)
Tastes more Baltic than Robust, as Porters go.

Thick, smooth, and really malty. Toasty, mildly toasty, nicely sweet. Mildly warming. Sweet bready malty pumpernickel finish.Overall Impression (2½)
Damn fine beer.
