Fürstenberg was purchased by a Heineken joint venture in 2004.

The Bierstube is a big place, with four or five good-sized rooms that I could see. The food here is excellent.

      Bright golden, high carbonation. Thick head. Smells of spicy hops, and lots of 'em! Medium body. Big spicy hop flavor on a big Pilsner malt base. Real tasty beer. Thanks to Bryce Hinsch for the sample!

      Grainy, malty. Maybe just a little worty.

      Very light body. Smooth. Sweetly grainy malt character. Very mild noble hop flavor with just a touch of bitterness.
      Overall Impression (3)
      Brewed in the same manner as their full-strength beers. The alcohol is removed using a patented process.

      Big wheat malt. Mild banana. Mild grainy malt.

      Medium body, really creamy. Not as fizzy as so many Hefeweizen are. Nice wheat malt base, nice mild banana flavor.
      Overall Impression (2)
      Maybe a bit too mild, but very tasty anyway. I wonder if Rolf likes this one.
