Very earthy, malty, with subtle notes of whiskey.Mouthfeel (9)
Big body, really smooth. Fruity and black, just moderately sweet. Very nice malt undertones, plums, some chocolate. Mild alcoholic character. Whiskey flavors are quite subdued. Clean finish.Overall Impression (3)
This beer was aged for three months in whiskey barrels from Stranahan's in Denver. Compare it to the non-barrel-aged version. Thanks to Jacob Sjúrður Hansen for sharing this special beer with us!
