Bright red-brown. Moderate thick head. Mild Munich malt aroma, mildly caramelly. Medium body, fairly fizzy. Good sweetish toasty maltiness all the way through. Not as "dark" in flavor as I'd expect. Good beer, though. Maybe just a little diacetyl.

Bright golden. Huge creamy head. Fresh noble hop aroma with fresh sweet malt. Light-medium body. Lots of fresh malt flavor immediately swept away by the tasty noble hops into the lingering mildly bitter finish.

Served in a Krug, so it's hard to tell the color. Moderate head, anyway. Mild sweet grainy malt aroma. Medium body, fairly fizzy. Very nice clean sweet maltiness all the way through.
