U.S. Importer: Hofbrauhaus of America, Vassar, MI

According to my travel journal - written before I learned anything about Real Beer - I had four Maß at the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl* on July 12, 1989, and another one the next day. I vaguely remember a Dunkel, a Weissbier, and a "Bier" which was probably a Helles. I paid a lot more attention to the beers on March 26, 2003, when I had the opportunity to visit again.
*The Hofbräuhaus am Platzl is located at Platzl 9, phone 089 / 22 16 76. They're open daily from 9:00am to midnight.
The Hofbräuhaus is expanding to the United States; they have an Ausschank in Las Vegas, and a brewery in Kentucky, with more in the works.
The Hofbräuhaus is also the home of The Bavarian Beer Comic.
