Take the S-7 (Richtung Wolfratshausen) from München Hauptbahnhof to the Großhesselohe stop. Isarbräu is inside the old train station. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The Weizen is brewed on-site; the other beers come from Hofbräuhaus Traunstein.

Beer List

      Package: draught
      Place: at the brewery
      Score: 17½ points
      Overall Impression (3)
Amber opaque with a thick creamy head. Mild banana and Munich malt aroma. Phenomenally fizzy - I thought my face was going to explode. Very nice wheat flavors, sweet, with bananas and a hint of cloves, and maybe just a little toasty. I know this style is supposed to have a lot of carbonation, but WOW.
