Karl Strauss Brewery Gardens is very effectively hidden in a forest in the middle of the San Diego Tech Center. It's a real nice place once you find it, surrounded by some very impressive gardens.

Bright golden amber. Thick head. Mild caramel aroma. Medium body. Grainy and sweet, with some caramel flavor.

Bright red. Huge thick head. Big fruity hops aroma, big caramel malt, and a hint of DMS. Big body, silky-smooth. Massive - but not overly sweet - caramel malt flavor, and a real nice bitterness all the way through. Alcoholic warming finish.

Red, translucent. Good head. Solvent odor on top of caramel malt. Medium body. Big banana flavor up front, followed by rather a lot of phenols.
