      Amber, some haze, nice head. Sweet aroma, a little smoky. Nice body, nice bitterness. Hoppy clean finish. A refreshing American Wheat Beer that doesn't pretend to be something it's not: "Wheat malt, barley malt, hops, yeast, and water." (Note added 7/12/2007: Their web site now calls this beer "a classic California Pale…Similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale". So maybe they've changed the recipe over the past ten years.)
