Bright amber brown. Big thick head. Caramel malt aroma, with spicy alcohol and a hint of papery oxidation. Huge body. Low carbonation. Rather astringent, but also rather sweet. Warming late. Real nice caramel malt flavor all the way through, with quite a bit of spicy alcohol. Thanks to Jay Jackson for the sample!
