Bonfire's Mark Waldecker says the reports of the brewery's demise are unfounded:
(16 Feb 2007) I would just like you to note that the Brewery is in FULL production and all the beers are on tap, we have a few still racking, but by next week all will be on tap. Please update your web page accordingly, all the other information is still correct and we will be at the Winter Beer Festival on the 24th.
But apparently the deck was stacked against Bonfire, because Mark sent this on March 17:
A few weeks back a shocking change of events happened for the brewery, seems the Landlord and Current owner have sold the restaurant to a steakhouse chain. The last day of business speculated for the brewery will be March 23rd or the 24th.
Bad luck indeed.

Deep red, low head. Smells like chocolate hops. Medium body, lots of chocolate, fairly metallic...in fact, it's INTENSELY metallic in the finish.
