Contributor Gordon Lindblom provides this review:

My wife and I have been here off and on over ten years and during the last year and a half, for every Wednesday afternoon Happy Hour at the bar after volunteering at Mayo Clinic.

There is a main bar and very extensive dining area. The décor is heavy on brick, natural wood and plants. Large booth seating is available. The Seven Bridges theme is throughout, picturing all seven bridges that cross the St Johns River here.

The menu is extensive with a variety of soups and salad, pizza, steak and seafood, wonderful “Brewers Selections”, main dishes, sandwich and dessert selections. The meat loaf (under Brewers Selections) for me, is like no other. There are also special menus available with each seasonal beer. All the food is very good and well prepared.

We have appetizers with our beer at the bar and it’s always hard to choose from the many good selections. All the bartenders are very friendly and professional and have made some good suggestions.

I like their Iron Horse Stout (although Ragtime and A1A’s A. Strange Stout is also good). My wife has their Light Lager or Magnolia Brown Ale. Pilsner and IPA are also available. There are many seasonal beers made by the resident Brewmeister, Erick Luman, that should not be missed. Irish Red Lager, Maibock, Summer Wheat, Octoberfest, Holiday (Christmas) Porter, and many oak barrel aged and cask conditioned flavors.

Of the three Gordon Biersch restaurants in the area (Ragtime, Atlantic Beach and A1A Ale House, St. Augustine), Seven Bridges, for me, is the best. Also - joining Gordon Biersch’s “Passport Rewards” program is a must.
