      Golden. Thick creamy head.
      Aroma (3)
      Clean grainy malt, with a peppery note.
      Mouthfeel (8)
      Light-medium body, smooth. Peppery flavor up front, with grainy-sweet malt. Bitterness is very subdued.
      Overall Impression (2½)
      Tasty clean beer, but more of a Helles than a Pils. Made from regionally-grown barley.

      Light-medium body, fairly fizzy. Big earthy-sharp hop bitterness up front. Mild sweet malt underneath, with the bitterness lingering in the finish.

      Are Märzen beers paler and lighter here than elsewhere? This is a very nice German Pils.
