Golden. Malty aroma. Malty flavor, with some hops, not at all bitter. "Helles" Alt? That's a new one. (As of 2004, it's no longer in production.)

Date: October 3, 2003 (#5116)Package: draughtPlace: Peabody's Ale House, Oshkosh WIScore: 14½ pointsOverall Impression (3)
Bright golden-brown. Big thick head. Fruity-floral hop aroma. Medium body. Sweet maltiness at first gets obliterated by a huge fruity fairly bitter blast of hops. Tasty beer, but not an Oktoberfest.
