Date: July 22, 1998 (#2986)Package: bottledPlace: 1st Wines and Spirits, Allouez WIScore: 15½ pointsOverall Impression (3)
Deep golden, moderate carbonation and head, fairly hazy. Sweet, spicy aroma. Medium body, sweet, real Belgian character. Orangey fruitiness through the finish. If the Belgians brewed a Czech Pilsner, it would taste like a French Biere de Garde.
