  Red, good carbonation and head. Sorta brown, sorta musty-smelling. OK body, but subdued flavor. OK hop finish. Pretty unremarkable, though. Maybe my tongue's burned out from the Rogue American Amber.

Nearly black-red. Good brown head. Dark roasty aroma, hint of hops. A little thin. A little fizzy. A little flavor, but mostly quick and clean. Not a whole lot of character. Lingering sweet aftertaste. "A full bodied dry stout with a hint of black cherries...1.060"

Amber, low carbonation and head. Hoppy, rye aroma. Smooth, smoky, well-balanced. Good rye flavor. Very low carbonation. "Rye added...to lighten the body."

Black, huge brown head. Smoky aroma, like sausage. Thick, bitter. Big alcohol blast in the middle, and a big black burnt finish. Roasty-sweet aftertaste. This bottle doesn't say "Since 1894." It does say "The original Star Brewery opened in 1894. The new Star Brewery carries on the tradition of brewing exceptional beer in small handcrafted batches."

American-Style India Pale Ale

Amber, moderate carbonation, good head. Slightly spicy hop nose. Very hoppy, very bitter. OK body.

English-Style Brown Ale

Amber, high carbonation, no head. Raspberry aroma, some malt, a little off. Some raspberry flavor...not as much as I expected. Reasonable wheat beer under that...why wreck it with fruit?

Golden-amber, high carbonation, OK head. Pineapple aroma...and malt! Malty beer with pineapple flavor, especially in finish. Not bad, but carbonation is too high.
