I was fortunate to find the bottle of Dark Ruby Ale shortly before Sarah Hughes stopped bottling their beers. They've been producing strictly cask ales since 2003.

      Dark ruby color, high carbonation, thick head. Big fresh English hop aroma, fruity with caramel. Big body, richly malty, fairly bitter with a big hop flavor. Some roastiness in the dry, hoppy finish.
