Amber, almost opaque, thick head. Citrus aroma, mildly malty. Thick, big citrus hops, big caramel sweetness. Mildly bitter at the end, not a lot of alcohol character. Thanks to Mike Deliman for the bottle!

Light color. Fine bubbles. No aroma. This is a barleywine? It's the lightest I've ever had. On the other hand, it's quite thick, smooth, and High-Test. Nothing but pale malt...unusual for a barleywine.

Red, quite dark. Sweet smell. Very nice flavors. Sweet but not cloying, and the hops finally show up at the end. Very good beer. Doesn't taste very strong, but it feels strong...

Dark-lager-looking. Smells like our old toolshed...diesel oil and dirt. Tastes just like it smells. Bah.
