Bryggeriet Refsvindige was founded in 1885 by Hans Poul Rasmussen. The brewery is situated in a small village called Refsvindige and only produced low alc. malt brews until 1986 when the production of a pilsner beer was started. Later on other beer styles have been brewed, each available for a short period of time. Their "AZ Ale" is quite famous and so is their "Mors Stout" (Moms Stout). These two beers are also brewed under licence at Bryggeriet Vestfyen to keep up with demands.

      Sweet and smoky, and very toasty. Rye bread.

      Medium body, really smooth. Lots of very sweet, brown-toasty malt. Sweetly malty all the way through, and a little warming at the end.
