Golden-pale, moderate carbonation, good head. Hint of mercaptans, but mostly nice fresh malt aroma. Fairly big malty beer, slightly nutty. Just enough bitterness late. I'd like to taste this vom Faß! Good Munich malt flavor.

Deep amber, fairly low carbonation. Threw quite a head. Slightly toasty dark malt aroma. Oddly light flavors for such a big-looking beer. Hint of caramel, hint of roastiness, pretty fair balance. Hint of bitterness at the very end. Pretty smooth beer. They certainly don't call it "Malt Liquor" in Germany.

Red-brown, fizzy, big head. Some cloves, some dark malt in aroma. Strong burnt clove flavor. Very high carbonation. Tartness in finish.
