3/21/2005: "Chili" O'Gowan reports:
The Pony Express Brewing Company in Olathe, Kansas (Kansas City suburb) is alive and well, under new ownership. I bought a six each of Rattlesnake Pale Ale and Original Wheat for the weekend. It'd been a while since I had them, so I can't remember if they're using the same recipes or not, but both were very good. And I'm an old Boulevard fan, so that's saying something. I haven't tried their "Tornado Red" again. I remember not liking the old Arrowhead Red recipe, though - way too sweet for my taste. But that's just my taste. Haven't tried the Pony Gold yet, either. But like I said, their pale and wheats are good enough that they've earned another purchase or two from me.
