Pelican Pub & Brewery and Darron Welch were named Small Brewpub of the Year at the 2000 Great American Beer Festival, and again in 2005, and again in 2006, and Large Brewpub of the Year in 2013. They were named the Champion International Brewery at the 2005 Australian International Beer Awards.
