Aroma (3)
Big spicy, fruity, citrusy hops.

Mouthfeel (8)
Medium-big body, low carbonation. Huge grassy hops. Pretty bitter. Mildly tart. Lots of vanilla, and maybe some Brettanomyces.

Overall Impression (2½)
The first sip is rough, the second is interesting, and the third is actually kinda tasty.

American-Style Amber/Red Ale

Medium body, smooth. Huge caramel character. Nice spicy hop flavor and bitterness.

Other than being too sweet, it wouldn't be a bad Altbier.

Medium body, fairly fizzy. Grainy malt up front. Earthy, fruity hops. Grainy, earthy, moderately bitter finish.

Medium-big body, smooth. Fiercely malty. Tons of dark caramel and raisin. Dark fruit and some banana along with a grassy hop flavor and a lingering bitterness at the end.

Remarkably complex beer. Style? Who knows.

Fresh clean malt.

Mouthfeel (9)
Light-medium body, fizzy. Real nice clean malt character. Tasty mild spicy hop flavor and mild bitterness. Just a little sulfur.

Real good beer.

Very mild clean malt.

Light-medium body, fizzy. A very similar beer to the Old Seattle Lager, with a fruitier, earthier, more pronounced hop character.

Not as well-balanced as the Lager, but still tasty.

BRIGHT red, low head. HUGE rye toast aroma. Big body. Huge sweet toastiness, quite a lot of fairly bitter herbal hop flavor. This is a very good beer that will turn into an excellent beer in a year or two!
