Bright golden, thick head. Served in a Delirium Tremens glass on a Delirium Tremens beermat. Malty aroma, with some DMS. Medium creamy body. Nice and malty with a big Belgian fruitiness. Hugely warming, but without a lot of alcoholic character, which makes this a dangerously subtle beer. -
Date: December 21, 2002 (#4566)Package: bottledPlace: Flanagan's Stop and Shop, Appleton WIScore: 20 pointsOverall Impression (3)
Deep golden, very slight haze, huge massive thick dense head. Took fifteen minutes to pour! Hugely spicy aroma - cinnamon, ginger - with some banana and lots of pale malt. Medium-big exceptionally smooth body with lots of carbonation. Rich maltiness carries lots of Belgian spiciness and quite a bit of banana. Malty spicy fruity alcoholic finish…nice and warming and tasty. -

Golden, very high carbonation, massive head. Smells like yeast. Medium body, candy sweet, earthy finish. Obscenely complex. Drying, warming rocket fuel.
