Black, moderate head. Smells like a chocolate malt. Thick, BLACK, roasty, sweet. Herbal hop flavor. Drying finish. No alcohol character, but you know it's there. Lots of wood in the finish.

Big. Smooth. Malty, roasty, and earthy. Very warming. Worcestershire sauce. Molasses. Black licorice.Overall Impression (2)
Real good beer, except for the oxidation. Maybe a few more years will help.
