Amber, very low carbonation, typical massive "pubdraught" head. Spicy aroma, and metallic...like a Zippo lighter. Thick, slightly spicy hops all the way through. Mild long-lasting metallic bitterness. Lots of diacetyl, too.

Nice clear amber. Thick head...poured from "Guinness" tap. Fruity-spicy aroma, not assertive. Green apple flavor. Some malt behind that.

This beer is a blend of the brewery's Old 5X strong ale and BPA pale ale. Beautiful deep red, high carbonation, thick head. Floral and herbal aroma, with caramel malt. Medium body, hoppy and fruity. It's got the complexity of the old ale with the easier-drinking lighter body of the pale ale.
