Gilde was acquired in November 2002 by Interbrew for €491 million. ABIB sold the brewery to TCB Beverages group in January 2016.

      Bright golden. Thick head with lots of tiny bubbles. Sweet, bready aroma. Medium body, fizzy. Sweet and malty. Fairly yeasty/bready flavor. Some bitterness at the end.

      Very pale golden, low carbonation, moderate head. Real nice malty aroma, slightly sulfury. Light body, but heavier than the Pilsener. More bitter than the Pilsener. Altogether more of everything than the Pilsener, with a malty sweet finish.
