Some of the beers served here are brewed by Hannen in Mönchengladbach. The brewery closed under mysterious circumstances in May 2004. New management plans to reopen the pub, but the brewing equipment will be for decoration only.

      Deep bright brown, actually fairly dark, with a thick creamy head. Spicy, malty aroma. Medium-light body. Quite a bit of DMS. Very malty with a real nice bitter hoppiness. Too bad about the DMS.

      Yellow, hazy. Moderate head. Fairly clean sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Sweetly malty and fairly fruity. OK, but not as interesting as the München variety.

      Bright golden. Big fluffy head. Nice spicy hop aroma, with sweet grainy malt. Medium slick body. Very malty with a mild hop character. There's an unfortunate dose of diacetyl here that over-accentuates the sweetness. Brewed by Hannen.
