      Oak. Dark sweetish malt.

      Thick, sweet, dark, and Fiercely oaky! Molasses and oak and dark malt and oak and oak.
      Overall Impression (2)
      Good. Intense. Barleywine with oak spirals.

      Interesting, but one-dimensional. But hooray for buckwheat! Only there's no buckwheat in this beer.

      Light body, moderate carbonation. Huge floral-grassy bitterness all the way through. Mild biscuity malt.

      Way too bitter.

      Fruity, citrusy hops. Mild nutty, bready malt.

      Medium body, fairly fizzy. Big nutty rye, bread crust. Grassy-floral hop flavor, fairly bitter. Lots of everything in the nicely-balanced finish.

      I like it.
