This is the world's largest single brewery. On March 19, 2002, the company announced that their flagship beer, Original Coors, would henceforth be known as Coors Original...and it's about time, don't you think?
Coors merged with Molson in 2005.
The brewery tour entrance is at 13th & Ford Streets. "Paul" had a great time on the tour:
A great walking tour lasting about 45 minutes. At just over 5600 foot altitude take your time if you are from a sea level location. At the end adults over 21 years of age get upto 3 beers at the hospitality bar. Bring photo ID. To skip the tour and go straight to the free beers ask for the "Short Tour". There is a fair size gift shop next to the bar and vending machines for snacks at the bar. I highly recommend Woody's Pizza a few blocks away for lunch/dinner. I worked there 5 years a go and just took the tour (9/01/2007)
Coors uses the names Unibev and AC Golden Brewing for some of its brands.
