Jacob S. Hansen reports:
An Englishman called Thomas Cooper established his brewery in Leabrook in 1862. The brewery was moved from Leabrook to Regency Park in 2001 where the brewery has an increased brewhouse capacity. Coopers products are now marketed nationally and internationally, in a determined way that has ensured the Coopers brand is well known beyond its South Australian home. The Coopers Brewery is the only family owned brewery left in Australia.
