Light-medium body, fairly fizzy. Great big piney, resiny hop flavor. Pretty bitter for such a light beer. Very faintly yeasty, even more faintly malty.

Overall Impression (1½)
Tastes good, and I get what they were going for, but the balance just isn't there.

Hugely malty, smooth. Fruity. Not alcoholic at all. Caramel candy. Really complex and as clean as a beer this big can be.

Damn tasty beer. Aged in rum barrels.

These beers are hard to get right; the hop bitterness tends to fight with the roasty bitterness. That's not the case here.
