      Package: canned
Place: Northbound Liquor Store, Elk River MN
      Score: 16½ points
      Appearance (2½)
Bright golden, unless you pour the whole can, in which case it's a murky mess. Dense white head.
      Aroma (3)
Citrusy, tropical-fruity hops. Mild biscuity malt.
      Mouthfeel (9)
Medium body, moderate carbonation. Nice bready, toasty malt background behind a medium fruity hop flavor. Low-medium bitterness. Fruity, mildly citrusy. Clean fruity finish.
      Overall Impression (2)
Pretty good beer. It would have been nice to know about the sediment before I poured it.

    Session India Pale Ale
    4.70% abv.
    • Date: January 24, 2020 (#10170)
      Package: canned
Place: Northbound Liquor Store, Elk River MN
      Score: 18 points
      Appearance (3)
      Golden. Thick fluffy head.
      Aroma (4)
Big citrusy hops, orange and grapefruit. Very mild bready malt.
      Mouthfeel (9)
Light body, fizzy. Bready malt underlies a big fruity hop flavor, citrusy and floral...orange blossoms. Not all that bitter. Smooth hoppy finish.
      Overall Impression (2)
Like all good Session IPAs, it's a good Pale Ale.
