Brazilian correspondent D.J. Hack shares an account of his visit to Wolkenberg:

My sister-in-law dragged us on a semi-business trip to Aparecida, then had us drive 30 miles out of the way for "lunch" (at 4 PM)in Cunha. The first restaurant we entered was no longer serving lunch, but had a local beer listed on their menu. I found the full selection of three beers available at the local market, where we were directed.

The brewery is located south of town and is operated by German descendents. From the 'contato' page of their site you can see the brewery - the little building on the hill, away from the house. Another case of homebrewing gone wild!

Cunha, incidentally is not a 'town', but an "Estância Climática" - a country spot with a good climate!

A pleasant surprise and the lone bright spot of the day!
