Formerly a brewpub in Chico, "Northern California's Premier Brewer of Organic and Speciality Craft Beers" sold their brands to Mendocino Brewing in August 2010. Butte Creek Brewing Company is now a dba of Mendocino Brewing Company.

      Big and smooth and malty. Lots and lots of caramel. Big fruity, grassy, resiny, clean hop flavor. Very nicely bitter.

      Real good beer.
