Twin Lakes' Matt Day is quite proud of the brewery:

Our Brewery is located at the beautiful “Twin Lakes Farm” in Greenville, DE on Route 52; Delaware's first nationally recognized scenic byway. The 252-acre farm has been in the family for 7 generations and is truly an American Farm Brewery. The brewery is a four vessel, gravity feed brewery, we only use the original 4 ingredients, whole flowered hops, "No Pellets", the best Gains and Yeast, and our Brandywine Valley water source is the finest in the State of Delaware. If you are looking for the best beer in Delaware, look no further than Twin Lakes Brewing Company we are Fresh-Local-Delicious! ® The Brewery is going "green". New solar energy panels were recently installed at the Twin Lakes American Farm Brewery in Greenville, DE. The 2-kilowatt system is just the start. Plans include making the entire brewery completely energy independent in the near future. Matt Day, Marketing & Sales Director at Twin Lakes, explained that soon there would be a small hydroelectric generator running in the upper of the two lakes and more solar panels will be going in, "We're proud that Route 52 is the first scenic byway in the State of Delaware and we want to protect the heritage and environment here," said Day.
