Formerly located in Baltimore MD. Brimstone was purchased by Frederick Brewing in December 1997. The brewery was closed down in January 1998; Brimstone now operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Frederick.

      Red, high carbonation, thin head. Brown sugar aroma. Lots of alcohol. Thick. Strong. Caramelly finish. Should be excellent in a year or two. (Bottled in October 1999.)
