Medium body, fizzy. Big noble hop flavor and bitterness up front, with a nice grainy-sweet maltiness. Bitterness lingers long after the beer is gone.Overall Impression (2)

Medium-big body, surprisingly fizzy. Big chewy maltiness, with a clean, sweet flavor. Maybe a bit warming, but there's dangerously little alcohol character here.Overall Impression (3)
If it's really 8.5% abv, it's a tremendously subtle beer that demands caution in its enjoyment.

Medium body, moderate carbonation. Tremendously earthy, with a dark chocolate undertone. Quite dry. Quite smoky. Quite unlike any Dunkles Lager I've tasted.Overall Impression (3)
Just when I thought all of their beers were golden, she brings this one, brewed for their 175th anniversary.
