Minnesota correspondent Jonny Hughes reports on Vine Park's 2018 ownership change:

In early 2018, the planners created “651 Tyga Bite Tsov Tom” as a trade name for their flagship lager brand.

The “651 Tyga Bite Tsov Tom” group purchased an ownership stake in Vine Park Brewing Company of Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is the still-extant BOP in which the Tyga Bite brand was formulated (it’s a pale lager brewed with brown rice, to be very clear about it), and the sole owner (Andy Gage) was looking to sell for the right price.

The “651 Tyga Bite Tsov Tom” Facebook page is updated regularly and very active. The company is likewise expanding its product line with a new blonde ale brand (“Poj Laib Blonde Ale”) for on-sale (draught) and retail, and expanding its range of distribution (principally by adding Wisconsin in early 2019).

The “651 Tyga Bite Tsov Tom” ownership group is comprised of four Hmong-American individuals (of whom I have met only one), and this group can be said to be the principal owners of Vine Park.

They are currently contracting production of their flagship brand with the Stevens Point (WI) brewery, with cans being run out of Barley John’s in New Richmond, WI.

Former Vine Park co-owner Dan Justesen opened Ma href='https://beerme.com/brewery.php?18920'>Utepils Brewing in Minneapolis in 2018, after selling his ownership share in 2015.

Minority Stake owner Andy Gage continues to run and educate about beer on a daily basis vis-a-via the Vine Park Brewing Co. BOP operation.
