They've got some great barbecued meals to go along with their fine beers; don't miss the Duck Empanadas! Their beers are unfortunately served at 34°F, but if you have the patience to let them warm up, they're worth the wait. Reservations are advised.

Zea decided to give up brewing after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Heiner Brau in Covington is brewing beer for all the Zea restaurants now; the beers were on tap as of March 7, 2006.

Deep golden, some haze, good head. Tart aroma. Medium-big body. Lots and lots of alcoholic sensation, without a lot of the alcoholic flavor. Sweetish. Maltyish. There's a tartness and a hoppiness and some acetaldehyde that sneak in behind the rest. He wanted a cross between Duvel and a Saison, and I think he's come pretty close.
