      Overall Impression (3)
Rich golden, very high carbonation, massive dense head. Big fresh malt aroma with mild fruity esters. Thick, creamy except for the prickly carbonation. Massively malty and intensely warming. Fruitiness up front gets washed away by the maltiness in the middle, which is trumped by the alcoholic finish, which subsides when your tongue goes numb. Compares favorably with and even exceeds almost any Belgian Strong Ale I've tasted. "Best before end Oct 2002".
