One of Britain's "Big Six" brewing companies, now owned by Grandmet. The London brewery closed years ago.

      Black, OK head. Coffee-sweet aroma, some alcohol. Roasty flavor. Pretty clean finish. Sorta thin and dry.

      Black, big brown head. Black malt aroma, with alcohol. Watney's house flavor. Tastes like a black Red Barrel. Tastes like bottled Guinness, only lighter in body.

      Golden-amber, OK head and carbonation. Sweet, bland aroma. Tastes just like the Samuel Smith's Pale, maybe a little lighter. Wonder what the hops are? I'd like to avoid them.
