This is the former Hart Brewery and Pub. Pyramidacquired Portland Brewing in 2004.
As of my April 2006 visit, all of the brewing was being done in Berkeley and Portland. The brewing equipment was being removed, and is to be replaced with the brewing system from Sacramento, which is smaller than what was here in the first place.
Acquired by North American Breweries in 2010.

Ruby red, moderate carbonation and head. Rich caramel malt and chocolate aromas, with minty hops. Big body, big caramel sweetness. Smooth and not all that hoppy. Tastes good now...should taste great next year. Bottle #01937.
