    Deep bright ruby, high carbonation, thick tan head.
    Aroma (3)
    Roasty aroma, with lots of dark fruit and dark Munich malt.
    Mouthfeel (9)
    Big creamy body. Extraordinarily complex, like a fine Old Ale, only black. Malty and roasty with an aged vinous character. Hints of oak and coconut and plums. Just a bit of papery oxidation detracts from this otherwise fantastic beer.
