Thunderhead used to brew here (as did the Modern Monks) but now all the beer is brewed over in Kearney. The Chicken Coop is a great reason (actually, it's about the only reason) to visit my hometown!

      Mild fruity hops.

      Medium body, fairly fizzy. Huge caramel malt flavor. Mildly bitter, with lots of fruity hop flavor. Really dry at the end, and a little warming.

      Clean, tasty, but not especially complex.

      Pretty tasty beer.
