Beer List

    • Date: October 14, 2006 (#6166)
      Package: draught
Place: Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Flughafen, Zurich-Glattbrugg, Switzerland
      Score: 18 points
      Appearance (3)
      Deep yellow. Opaque. Thick head.
      Aroma (3)
Spicy, with lots of wheat malt.
      Mouthfeel (9)
Light-medium body, really fizzy. Smmoth malt character underlies prominent bananas, some cloves, and a lot of wheat flavor.
      Overall Impression (3)
Possibly the best Weissbier of the trip. Unfortunately, it's also the final beer of the trip.

    • Date: May 22, 1996 (#1484)
      Package: bottled
Place: Kamuela Liquor Store, Kamuela HI
      Score: 10½ points
      Overall Impression (2)
Golden-amber, OK carbonation, huge head. Completely skunked. Malty, but not sweet. Fairly bitter, in fact. Finishes clean. This would be a good beer if it didn't stink.
